The climbing area “Ettringen” is located in the basalt quarries between Mayen, Ettringen and Kottenheim on the edge of the East Eifel at the feet of the area Hochsimmer. It offers a unique multitude of cracks, edges and dihedral-climbing grip on volcanic rock. On the homepage of the climbing area Ettringen you’ll find a database of routes and boulders.
